Cars Walkie Talkie Walkie Talkie FRS/GMRS... Help... What License?

Walkie Talkie FRS/GMRS... help... what license? - cars walkie talkie

I recently purchased an FRS / GMRS walkie talkies 2-way in the United States. This is my first purchase of walkie-talkies. Have we only allow communication between vehicles for a trip for the family. I have no idea what applies to the small license. I just need the walkie-talkie, with a car that does not even consider communicating one miles per head of household Roadtrip mines.

Can someone explain how.

You need a license for GMRS GMRS. This license is $ 85.

You can use the FRS only channels without a license. He is 8-14 in their radios.

See my source for further information.

FRS = free license requires an FCC GMRS license, $ 75.00 for 5 years.

FRS and GMRS portable radio on the part of the same ... to which channels are free and FRS and GMRS and what requires a license aware.

Licensed GMRS users are upset that the FCC allows them to reflect always on the lookout for illegal users.

FRS = Family Radio Service
GRMS = General Mobile Radio Service.

If the box contains a license application, you get www.fcc.gov or call 1-888-Call-FCC
